Fri 3rd May – Sing-A-Long: The Sound of Music 🎶🏔️
The hills are alive with the sound of club members singing along to our Sing-A-Long film, The Sound of Music. Maxine will be presenting the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical for your entertainment. Our concert room is a welcoming and safe space, so you can come along to sing, or just to enjoy the film and the songs.
Entry is free for members, and £2 for guests.
9th – 11th May – Biggleswade Beer & Cider Festival 🍻
We’re hosting the second annual Biggleswade Beer & Cider festival with CAMRA on 9 – 11 May. The 2024 festival will feature displays from the Biggleswade History Society showcasing the fascinating history of brewing and pubs in Biggleswade. Everyone is welcome to attend and we’re also seeking volunteers to help over the festival period. For further information please see our website.
Sat 11th May – Live Beer Festival Music: Benny G Smith 🎶
During the Beer Festival, we’ve arranged some live music on the Saturday afternoon to accompany the festival. Whether you are attending the festival or just enjoying an afternoon at the club, we’re sure you will enjoy the acoustic set pulled together by talented local musician Benny G Smith.

Tue 28th May – Film Night: One Life 🎬
Film night in May is One Life, the incredible, emotional true story of Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton (Johnny Flynn), a young London broker who visits Prague in December 1938. In a race against time, Winton convinces Trevor Chadwick (Alex Sharp) and Doreen Warriner (Romola Garai) of the British Committee for Refugees in Czechoslovakia to rescue hundreds of predominantly Jewish children before Nazi occupation closes the borders. Fifty years later, Nicky (Anthony Hopkins) is haunted by the fate of the children he wasn’t able to bring to safety in England.
Entry is free for members, and £2 for guests. Ice creams will be available for £1 during the interval.
Wed 5th June – Jazz Night 🎷
Jazz Night returns to the club on the 5th of June at 8pm. The lineup is to be confirmed closer to the evening, but these nights are always enjoyable for our jazz aficionados.
