Sat 27th April – Live Music: The Atomics 🎸
We’ve a great live band this Saturday night that’s completely FREE for Club members!! The Atomics are a superb four piece female fronted cover band, playing late 70’s and early 80’s Rock, Pop and New wave tunes by great bands such as Blondie, The Pretenders, Duran Duran, The Police, Elvis Costello, Nik Kershaw, Kim Wilde, and INXS to name a few.
Entry is free for members and £5 for non members, payable on the door. Everyone welcome.
Sun 28th April – George’s St George’s Quiz ❓
George is back on Sunday with his ever popular family pub quiz, this time with a slight St. George’s theme! £2 to play (plus £2 guest fee where applicable). Teams of up to six. General knowledge.
Tue 30th April – Film Night Classic: Hot Fuzz 👮♂️
Film night in April is a classic comedy from the naughties. When top London cop PC Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg), is reassigned to the quiet town of Sandford, he struggles with his seemingly crime-free world and oafish new partner Danny (Nick Frost). When several grisly accidents rock the village, it’s not long before Danny’s dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gun fighting, all out action becomes reality! It’s time for these small-town cops to hand out big-city justice! An entertaining comedy directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver).
Entry is free for members, and £2 for guests. Ice creams will be available for £1 during the interval.
Wed 1st May – Blues Night Returns 🎸
Blues Night returns to the club on the 1st of May at 8pm. March’s Blues Night was a great success and we’ve had fantastic feedback from members about how much they enjoyed the evening. We’re expecting more of the same on Wednesday with a fantastic lineup of talented musicians performing classic blues for your entertainment.

Fri 3rd May – Sing-A-Long: The Sound of Music 🎶🏔️
The hills are alive with the sound of club members singing along to our Sing-A-Long film, The Sound of Music. Maxine will be presenting the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical for your entertainment. Our concert room is a welcoming and safe space, so you can come along to sing, or just to enjoy the film and the songs.

9th – 11th May – Biggleswade Beer & Cider Festival 🍻
We’re hosting the second annual Biggleswade Beer & Cider festival with CAMRA on 9 – 11 May. The 2024 festival will feature displays from the Biggleswade History Society showcasing the fascinating history of brewing and pubs in Biggleswade. Everyone is welcome to attend and we’re also seeking volunteers to help over the festival period. For further information please see our website.
